Rosario Gueli aka Roxmaker DJ was born in a town in the South of Sicily (Italy). As a child he was already attracted to an old record player and liked to scratch the 45s making them turn to "1000 rpm"...
"From when I first touched the vinyl aged 4, my sensation now is not changed... a magic cool!!".
Until he was 14 years old he mixed audio tapes in his garage "for the friends and with the friends" and with the arrival of an old sampler and a small mixer, "played" with their voices putting them to "kick rhythm"...
"My home became my own Discotheque! My parents were tired"!
So he started to play in clubs, pubs, events, festivities on the beach...
The passion for Electronic Music grew quickly through many kinds: Dance, Techno, House, everything had a electronic battery, melody and a bass, a good quality of bass.
Six years later, step by step, through very much study (15-16 hours a day ), he begin to make electronic music!
R.Gueli aka Roxmaker now produces, remix, collaborates with many producers and with International Labels, supporting the engine that keeps him alive: "Electronic Music". And now he makes Makerrox, the new minimal tech project name.. check it out to www.myspace.com/makerrox
