[notes] Dec2005: Oh man. Finally. Okay, so, I was thinking, (this thought process started like... in Sept/Oct... hehe) that, I'd move to editing with ripped source instead of captured. And that, has been nothing but torture... lmao. (For various vidding projects, hee) No matter what I mixed around, there was always something that wouldn't work, whether it was the editor being fussy (My Pinnacle doesnt seem to like mpgs) or the converter not converting in an editable form, bah. (vDub produced wibbley avi's from the dvd's mpgs) Then. Add in too much inspiration (I have a LOT of vid ideas...), distraction from other obsessions (Hello- LOST, vMars, Smallville), etc. and you get a bundle of frustration... (Heh, poor me! LoL) But! I struggled thru! And! Finally!! My first Christmas musicvid! Of course, it's six days away from actual Christmas, pshh, LoL... Happy Holidays everybody!
[additional] I love Anastasia. As you can see by the front vid page, my second thru eighth vids were 5 for Anastasia. I made them all in that first month, I think the first two within the first week. But since that was all in January, I hadn't even gone back to the movie till now, nearly a whole year later (actually, exactly a year later becuz my vidding anniversary is coming up on the 31st! Hee!) In fact, I will probly be making about 2 to 3 more for Anastasia! I just wanted to mention this cuz it was interesting after vidding so much, going back to the very first thing I vidded (well, second. Hehe) and knowing what I kno now... LoL. So yea... Anastasia = awesome! Oh, and as for song history, this was one of my first CDs back in '98 so yea, I would listen to it over and over and this song in particular always reminded me of Anya on the train, and how she was feeling... and that's why this vid means a lot to me. ^-^
Also, concerning the pawprint in the corner- I decided to start tagging my vids becuz I plan on vidding in popular fandoms soon, where lots of cliptheft happens, and I wanted to establish something cute but meaningful to me... Thus, I came across a purple/blue pawprint, and I used to use a pawprint as part of my (actual, written, rather scribbled, lmao) signature, so yea :D When placing it in the vid, I tried to keep it small and unobtrusive- not too small that you couldnt see it, and not too big as to distract from the vid... If you're curious which fandoms exactly I'm heading into- Lost, HP, vMars, Charmed, Smallville; to name a few! Hehe...
