Nightmares on Wax ist eine britische Musikgruppe, welche im Jahr 1990 von George Evelyn und Kevin Haper gegründet wurde. Nightmares on Wax gelten als wichtige Vertreter des Downbeat-Genre. Beide Musiker haben ihren Ursprung in Hip-Hop-Projekten der 80er Jahre, in denen sie als DJs und Remixer tätig waren.
