Neyla inizia a mostrare le prime attitudini per la musica sin da bambina esibendo un grande interesse verso gli strumenti musicali come chitarra,sax e ritagliando sulle pagine dei giornali tutte le novità su microfoni di quel momento. Tutto ciò avveniva nella sua camera ritagliandosi spazi immaginari di ciò che più amava .

Col passar del tempo cresce in Neyla la passione per il canto, inizia a frequentare corsi di musica extra-scolastici, appassionandosi sempre di più ad artisti come, E.Filtzgerard, P.Labelle, B.Holiday, D.Worwick, Miss Elliot, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, etc. e approfondire lo stile “Soul”, “Jazz”, “R&B” .
A tredici anni inizia a scrivere i suoi primi testi e ad immaginare come sarebbe statoavere il suo primo album interamente scritto da lei.

In tanto inizia a frequentare la scuola superiore e non c’era occasione migliore per esibirsi nelle recite scolastiche o nel corso di teatro che frequentava,unico modo per sfogare tutta la passione e creatività.
Ma a sedici anni inizia la svolta,la famiglia capisce che realmente quello della musica è il percorso che “Neyla” vuole seguire,così inizia a lavorare con un agenzia che gli permette di viaggiare svolgendo attività di accompagnatrice-cantante di gruppi di turisti.

Partecipa a svariati concorsi regionali e nazionali riscotendo sempre apprezzamenti sia nella voce che nell’interpretazione.

Nel 2005 avviene l’incontro importante con il Produttore Marco Camasso che nota in lei un grande dono sia nel canto che nel comunicare attraverso le parole, comincia così il primo progetto per la realizzazione di un’Album Scritto da Neyla con le musiche di Marco Camasso e prodotto dalla M.C.Music.

Lo stile di “Neyla” è una fusione di Hip Hop- R&B con contaminazioni mediterranee .

E importante che un’artista rappresenti nel migliore modo se stessa , e soprattutto la provenienza .
