Bring Me the Horizon (abgekürzt BMTH) ist eine englische Deathcore-Band aus Sheffield, Yorkshire.
Biographie
Die Band wurde 2004 von Mitgliedern diverser anderer Bands aus ihrer Gegend gegründet. Das Debütalbum Count Your Blessings erschien in England am 30. Oktober 2006. Momentan sind sie beim Label Visible Noise Records unter Vertrag. Als Headliner waren sie im März und April 2007 mit der Band I Killed the Prom Queen auf UK-Tour.Außerdem waren sie im Line-Up des diesjährigen Download Festival vertreten. In Deutschland waren sie im diesjährigen Line-Up des Pressure Festivals bestätigt, sagten ihren Auftritt aber kurzfristig ab. Als Grund für ihr Fernbleiben gaben sie eine Reifenpanne an.
Stil
Auf ihrem Debütalbum Count Your Blessings mischten sie Metalcore mit deutlichen Death-Metal-Anleihen, so dass ihr Stil als ?Deathcore? bezeichnet wird.
